Been reading the manga. Lau is clearly the awesomest character in the whole thing. I get why people love Sebastian and Ciel (I do too), but for the supporting characters, why are people always going on about Grell and Undertaker etc when Lau is so infinitely more wonderful? Oh, I love him so much. ♥

I actually find Grell and the Undertaker's characterisations pretty 2D. They might be loud and therefore memorable, but in terms of depth of character, Lau and Madam Red are a million times more interesting...

I suppose I haven't seen that much of the anime, that might affect things too. I'm up to vol.6 of the manga and Grell only appeared in Madam Red's story. Undertaker reappeared once so far but hasn't got much of a role yet. Lau has been here and there a lot and it's been shown he's reigns in East London as the "Asian authority" and he does NOT tolerate anyone messing with that. Also, him and his opium den. XDDDD OMG. And I generally just adore his characterisation. XD

Yeah I heard a bit about the anime's ending. The manga's really good though, you should read it if you get the chance!

I acutally had vol.1-5 for a long time but only got vol.6 recently and read them all in one go, so didn't noticed his awesomeness until now. LAUUUUUU ♥

Maybe I should watch the rest of the anime too, even though I heard it doesn't end well for him... but there'll be season 2, right?

I think you should watch the rest of the anime. I've seen it all, and I really enjoyed it, even the bits that made me want to cry (Lau). The ending is perfect, for an anime. It's a real ending. And Sebastian.....guh...♥ I do wonder how they're going to manage a second season, though. It'll be interesting. I like the series so much, characters and all, that I'm willing to see past any lameness they come up with to start the 2nd season. ^^;;

I think its because Grell and Underraker fit the bish looks and therefore are more popular. I love all the characters.

Just done a large Kuroshitsuji cosplay group a couple of weekends ago and had a great time. I was the Undertaker.

I'm watching the Anime at the mo. Have yet to read the manga. Sadly, I can't read it without read the fan translations as it isn't translated yet.

Yes, there will be a season 2 of the anime. Not sure what of the manga stories it will cover. My friends are hoping for the circus arch.
