Cosplay Ball, November 29, Clapham Grand. Should I go? y/n? (But I'll need a partner!)

Also bitten by the con bug, and now am considering Kitacon and/or Fuyucon.

I got prescribed strong!antihistamine and nasal spray. They don't seem to be doing much at the moment. I did sleep better last night, though.

Stabbed my hand yesterday. It's small but deep. Fourth wound on my hands/arms this month. Clearly August isn't a good month. (Probably didn't help that my concentration's shot from not sleeping well etc.)

I have found a few people at the con who are planning to do TLR, but I don't think they have a specific programme as to when they're going to do it. =/

It's actually a lot easier than it looks, I swear! None of what I've worn require particular skills and it's not tight fitting or anything. People who make things out of PVC or spandex or have figure hugging costumes/fur/etc, now that takes skills!

There's a bunch of Squeefest folks going to Kitacon (including me if the man's okay) and I think at least a couple are going to Minami con. Not so much Fuyu cos it clashes with yaoicon. Still planning group/pair cosplays so you might well get someone to 'play with you.

Kitacon was good last year - small and friendly with the highest cosplay percentage I've ever seen!

You do so have friends, btw. Lots of us would love you to hang out with us if you do come along. (Unless you don't want to be associated with a rabble like us, which is understandable. :p)

I dunno, there are options. Either he can wear a white tail coat with green and red lining (plus sword painting on the back), sleeveless /w armwarmers and straps, and sash.... OR, he can wear his usual jacket, but proper white trousers, proper shirt, no armour underneath, cravat...

Otherwise, been thinking about other characters I was looking at.. I've always been fond of Orlha from Chrono Cross (she's a bartender who uses drunken kickboxing techniques!) - or maybe we could go as Dio and Lucciola from Last Exile? And ooh, Noelle is pretty sexy too.. :3
