Oh, so that's what it was! The phone rang for half a second. I thought my family in HK was trying to call and got bad connection.
I suppose their customer services just don't like having to physically talk to people. How typical, to ring for half a ring, then hang up and say they've tried. Whatever, their email explained the refund procedure.
