Don't want to disable NIS again to reply to comments, so I'm posting through Semagic...

ningengirai gave, but it's not helping. The thing is, if people with NIS (note: NIS, not Norton Antivirus) have been getting problems, and then all those people at the same time today suddenly can't access LJ... does it mean all those people should configure their comp's security to suit LJ?
And hell I did try to configure... but nothing's happening ;_; I wanna read my flist.

I'm having intermittent problems with my ZoneAlarm Pro too... mostly by slowing.......down upload of LJ pages or stopping icon animation randomly...
Obviously there's something with LJ that firewall softwares don't like...
