How difficult could it be to buy a scabbard, without the sword? Surely scabbards need replacing, too?

I mean, apart from plastic sayas that cost £10 each. Yes, you've read that right.

I'm very close to buying one of these and selling the bokken part but keeping the scabbard. Except I'm too lazy to do post office stuff. *sigh*

Very difficult, according to my current google results on the topic... o.o;;; WTF, world.

See why I was so frustrated? D:

I did a quick search and only found this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FANCY-DRESS-SAMURAI-SWORD-WITH-BLACK-SCABBARD-92506_W0QQitemZ260167230842QQihZ016QQcategoryZ86207QQtcZphotoQQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem =/

Maybe some specialised sites sell them, but they'd probably be really expensive.

Thanks, I saw that too. It's not what I need though.

I have a black katana with scabbard. You'd be more than welcome to borrow the scabbard if you needed it. I can take a photograph later to see if it's any good to you. I've no idea HOW I'd get it to you, though, short of finding a massive poster tube, but I'd be willing to try. I'll take a picture later. :)

Oh, thanks! But I think it's okay, since I'm going to need two, it might be easier to just find/make our own.

Thank you very much for the offer though! ♥
